MAZDA STILL NUMBER 1 IMPORTER
|
|
|
Mazda continues to register as Australia’s top selling importer for the year-to-date with 50,490 passenger and light commercial vehicles sold so far this year.
|
This accounts for an 8.4 per cent share of the new car market, up by 0.57 per cent from last year, after registering yet another successful month for August.
There were wins across the range for Mazda with the new generation Mazda3 securing a 15.5 per cent monthly market share in one of the country’s most competitive segments.
Mazda Managing Director Doug Dickson said of the results, “Mazda maintains a position of strength in this increasingly competitive new car market by offering outstanding features, class-leading handling, dynamics and styling in an outstandingly priced and value for money package”.
|
|
|
"It’s pleasing to see that despite these uncertain times an increasing number of Australian new car buyers are crossing over to Zoom-Zoom.”

As the warmer weather picks up and spring turns to summer, it is important to ensure your air-conditioning unit is working properly.
Here are our tips for ensuring your air-conditioner is working as it should be;
| • |
Run it for a little while in each operating modes |
| • |
Check that the airflow is coming from all appropriate vents |
| • |
If it takes an unusually long time to cool the car, the system may need to be checked for leaks and recharged |
Also, hot summer days can put a lot of undue stress on the engine’s cooling system.
Conventional coolant needs to be flushed every two years and the cooling system refilled with the correct coolant, not just water.
We at Essendon Mazda can help. Visit our Service Centre for more information or book your service here.
