HAVE A SNEAK PEEK

The newly updated Mazda CX-7 and CX-9 are set to arrive in our showroom respectively in September and October of this year.

After having made their international debuts at motor shows around the world including the Geneva Motor Show for the CX-7 and the CX-9 at the New York Auto Show we can reveal these sneak peek images of the updated models.

CONGRATULATIONS EMILE – 25 YEARS WITH ESSENDON MAZDA

This month we would like to introduce you to one of our long serving staff members, Emile Jeharajah, who has been with Essendon Mazda for 25 years.

After joining us in 1984, Emile has worked in various departments throughout our dealership and is now a member of our pre-delivery team, as the Senior Workshop Controller.

Emile brings with him a world of experience, literally, having worked in both Europe and the Middle East as well as travelling throughout the world, being originally from Sri Lanka and with family living in Canada, Singapore and elsewhere.

A keen reader, Emile says that he most enjoys reading and watching TV outside of work, but that working is his other passion.

“I like everything (about work). I have done everything, but there is no particular thing I enjoy most, everything is part and parcel. I worked on the floor, in the workshop, I like everything,” says Emile.

Emile also believes that it is important to be honest and true to yourself and your employer, and if you are, everything will come to you.

A Mazda driver himself, Emile says that his dream car is a Mazda 626, which he purchased new 11 years ago and has never given him a problem.

We congratulate Emile on his 25 years of service with Essendon Mazda and we look forward to many more to come.
